Director

For: 8th-12th Grade Youth

When: Tuesdays 6:00-7:30PM / Thursdays 6:00-8:00PM

Clifton Park Campus Life is all about building authentic Christ-sharing relationships with youth. We are always looking for opportunities to show the love of Jesus, with everything we do pointing back to Him. We want to produce positive and healthy leaders to go back into their community and be that next positive role model wherever they are!
We meet two times a week, Tuesday and Thursday nights. Tuesday night club consists of fun organized games, free snacks and a Bible message given by one of our ministry leaders. We talk about issues such as identity, fear, doubts, and heroes of the Faith. Youth get the chance to learn more about how awesome God is, how relatable and relevant the Bible is, develop lasting relationships with adults and meet new friends! We organize group games like team builders, kickball, nerf, dodgeball, rock climbing, and many other funtastic games! To top it all off there is free snacks and ice cream!
Clifton Park Campus Life Club meets on Tuesday nights, with youth ranging from 8th-12th grade. Club runs from 6-7:30PM at the Campus Life Center. Thursday night game nights are 6-8PM, location TBD.

Clifton Park Climbing Team:

For: 6th-12th Grade Youth

When: Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30-7:00pm

The climbing team is a ministry designed to build community and authentic Christ-sharing relationships with youth who enjoy the challenging sport of rock climbing. This sport which pushes one physically, mentally and emotionally also provides a unique opportunity for one to experience humility and introspection, which often leads to personal growth. Specifically, when a youth is experiencing and processing challenges both on and off the rock wall, conversations can happen organically about the difficulties in life, which can point to Jesus, His love for us, and the hope found in His salvation.
Twice a week, time is spent with the youth to improve their climbing skills at The Edge climbing gym, along with occasional outdoor adventures to do hiking, outdoor rock climbing, or outdoor ropes courses. All these activities are designed to develop camaraderie amongst the youth and ministry leaders, with the hope that the words and actions shared in the authentic Christ-centered relationships lead to the receiving of Jesus’ love in the hearts of youth within the Capital District.
