Meet Noah

I would like to introduce you to Noah. Noah has been a student in our program for the past 4 years. This is Noah’s last year as a student as he is finishing school and graduating this spring. Noah is a great kid who just enjoys being around any and all City Life leaders. Noah has some self-esteem issues because he has a speech impediment. He knows other kids notice and sometimes he gets really quiet and doesn’t say much. The other students do not make fun of him, but I’m sure he has been picked on in other places because of his impediment. We as leaders try to encourage him and make him feel a part of the group as much as possible.

It is very rare that Noah misses anything that City Life has going on, and if he is going to miss something, he makes sure to send a Facebook message letting us know that he will not be able to make it. On top of City Life events, he messages multiple leaders every week to talk about different things such as family, jobs, and sports. As stated before, Noah can be very quiet but at a Christmas Party in 2018, he decided to give his life to Jesus in front of over 70 other students. He had the opportunity to meet and talk with leaders about this decision and what a relationship with Jesus looks like going forward. Like most students in our ministry, he still deals with a lot of negative influence at home, in school, and in the community; but continues to be a faithful attendee of City Life. Praise God!

We look forward to continuing to invest in Noah’s life and keep him on the path that leads to Jesus! Please continue to pray for our ministry, specifically for Noah as this is his last year as a student in our ministry. Pray that we can continue the relationship we have with him and that he can become an amazing follower of Jesus! Thank you!
