Meet Tracy

I would like to tell you about a student named Tracy. Tracy has been coming to Schenectady City Life for a couple years now. Unfortunately, Tracy has had a rough childhood. Her father has not been around very much and her mother is addicted to drugs. Tracy has mentioned many times that she does not like to be home and doesn’t feel like it is a safe place to be. She often gets into verbal and sometimes physical altercations with her mother and then has to leave the house and stay with a friend.

Juggling that home life and being a teenager in high school is a lot for anyone. Tracy has begun to trust the leaders at City Life and continues to open up and share more and more about her story. She shows up to our weekly program every week! We are so happy to be able to connect with her, invest in her, and share Christ’s love with her. When she is at our program, she seems so happy and free, but we know that when she leaves she has to go back to her darkness. Tracy’s story is far from over and we will continue to love Tracy no matter what her situation is! That is one great thing about City Life, and I believe Tracy sees that!

Please join with us in praying for the Schenectady City Life ministry and for student like Tracy who desperately need the light of Jesus Christ in their lives!
